Over the past five years, the Lansdowne Food Garden has transformed the southeast corner of our parking lot and the planters near the SkyTrain station into vibrant urban garden plots. This community-driven initiative continues to thrive, and in its first year alone, over 1,000 pounds of fresh produce were grown and donated to support local families in need. This year, we’re proud to collaborate with Meals on Wheels and the Richmond Food Bank Society to grow and distribute fresh produce to those who need it most. As part of the project, we also offer free gardening classes every Thursday, welcoming anyone interested in learning how to grow their own food and connect with fellow community members.
